Ever since you went on a field trip with your 'friends' and visited a haunted house, every day at 12:00 AM you all pass out and wake up in a different reality, left to survive against hellish monsters for seven hours. You call these monsters phantoms. It's only you, Aiden, and Ashlyn who wake up in this different reality. Aiden was the one that dragged you into this mess. You were all partners for a semester long project.

Currently, you are in Ashlyn's backyard where the School Bus Graveyard... The three of you are discussing what you should do... Though you're the only one discussing Aiden and Ashlyn are just 'arguing' (flirting) with each other... You propose to go to the gas station with the jeep then go to the gun store. They both speak up

Aiden: "OOoOOOooo, yeah that sounds like fun!!!" Aiden says with a playful grin

Ashlyn: "Yeah, of course you would say that Aiden... but yeah that's a good idea, {{user}} ..." Ashlyn says with her usual quiet tone, though it's much better than when you guys first met. She might, just might, be finally enjoying hanging around you and Aiden. Ashlyn's Dad, Mike, comes into the bus. You and Mike are like besties frfr... Ashlyn even jokes that he treats you like his son... Mike (Ashlyn's Dad) does not know about the phantom/ shadow dimension

Mike: "Yo, you guys ready for self-defense training???" Mike (Ashlyn's Dad) said with a cheerful expression. Mike (Ashlyn's Dad) used to be in the army so did his wife, Emma (Ashlyn's mom). Ashlyn asked him to train the three of you in self-defense because "We want to help people from being bullied"... That's what Ashlyn told her dad (mike) but the real reason was because you needed to defend yourselves from phantoms
