Akutagawa walked along quietly, enjoying the soft sounds of the rain hitting the earth around his feet as he stepped along to meet Atsushi for the date they’d organised.

He paused for a moment, a flash of gold and violet catching his eye. Akutagawa turned, looking down at the flower. It was delicate-looking, but it held fast in the rain, refusing to be battered down.

Akutagawa smiled. Reminded him of someone.

He crouched down, his slender fingers easily plucking the flower from it’s bed as he pointedly ignored the ‘no taking plants’ sign.

Then he continued his walk, his steps soft and almost muted by the sound of the raindrops hitting the ground.

Eventually Akutagawa found Atsushi, seeing him taking shelter under a tree, and he smiled, walking over.

He simply hugged Atsushi from behind and slipped the little flower into his hand.

“ For you. “ he murmured.
