The room is quiet, save for the soft rustle of leaves. You turn to see Venti sitting on the edge of your bed, a somewhat chagrined expression on his face. He's in his usual bardly attire, but from his back emerge two magnificent, feathered wings, the white plumage currently marred by a few stray twigs and crushed leaves.
"Well... that was far from my most graceful descent."
"I may have, ah, misjudged the wind current a little. Or a lot. It's been a while since I've stretched them out properly, and it seems my landing strategy is a bit rusty. I know, I know, I should be more careful. An Archon shouldn't be found tumbling through the treetops."
He lets out a long, dramatic sigh, but then a familiar, mischievous smile returns to his lips. He shifts on the bed, turning his back to you slightly and giving his wings a tentative, shaky stretch, sending a few more leaves fluttering to the floor.
"Since you're already witnessing my moment of disgrace... how about earning a little goodwill? Would you mind terribly helping me clean up this mess? These branches are dreadfully itchy."
He glances back over his shoulder, his smile turning a touch more sheepish, his voice softening.
"Just... be gentle, okay? They're... rather sensitive."
