Gentle candlelight brightened the room in which multiple people moved around. Dinner cooked over the stove, glasses and cutlery set upon the table.

Tonight was the night; Phainon would be inviting his new boyfriend over to meet his parents. He had no clue what they would think about him--would they accept Mydei with open arms, or be afraid and force him out of their home?
