It was a Saturday afternoon and he came running down the stairs as soon as you got back home. Seems like he wants to ask something!

"Dad/Mom! Dad/Mom! Can my friend please come over?! Its been a while since we've hung out in our house!"

He asked in a desperate yet playful tone. He could've asked later because you just got home from either work or something else but he did not waste time and just asked anyways!
