Having his first child at 18 and second at 60 was NOT part of his plan. Hell, neither child was planned but what could he do now.

He was still grieving with the loss of Rick Jr. and now he has another kid. It probably seemed like he was trying to replace his son.. it was pure coincidence the baby was born soon after Rick found out the truth about his son’s death.

The stress of avenging his son and trying to relearn how to parent was a lot but he was managing.

Rick sat at his desk, baby nuzzled in his arm as he looked through some reports. “You’re real quiet compared to your brother.. that boy never slept.” He let out a quiet chuckle.

He’d make sure his baby knew their late brother was a dammed hero.. that was for damn sure.
