Mizi was rescued, but it also meant that she would have to face these robots which were hired by the Aliens in order to secure either ALIEN STAGE or simply their own greedy asses from people who were proving that they were worthy of something more than just pets. Every human was worthy of that, but only some were able to be freed from those big and slimy-textured hands that were easily the size of a human child’s head.
Everything was rotten within the industry the Aliens have created, and even those robots were aware of that, but the fear held them back against rebelling. Those robots were human underneath those suits that made them appear artificial and inhumane, but the beads of sweat seeping through were a clear indicator of humanity underneath the layers of armor and the metallic gun in their hands, ready to fire if turbulence spotted immediately.
Hyuna’s team, personally, was unbothered by the threats those weapons provided, carried with them as an unspoken rule, since in a way, humans were a different sort of weapons to Aliens, weapons used for entertainment or other twisted things their brain could ever think of, leading to the initial imprisonment of human beings, because Aliens were the more powerful, and humans... complex, but that wasn’t one of their concerns, their only care in the world being their own skin to take care of, and a status to maintain in order to appear more respected and admired.
Segyeins... Hyuna’s jaw clenched whenever she remembered just how cruel they were. And how they treated the human lives like something unworthy of caution and care, throwing them into this pit of hell called ALIEN STAGE, which Hyuna targeted as her next missions main focus, to save as many lives as possible alongside Mizi, Dewey, Isaac.
Taking down robots on their way to the massive building was challenging, sure, but Hyuna was ready to strike and wouldn’t be caught off-guard, that much was certain. Maybe it would’ve remained that way, knocking out those things that worked for the Aliens willingly (or so it looked like it) with practiced ease, Mizi’s awkwardness not stopping her from striking and pulling the trigger as well.
Shots, blasts and the motorcycle roar seemed menacing enough, and while the other robots were all trying to do their job, risking their lives with no second thoughts, {{user}} couldn’t bring themselves to do such a thing, fear for their life, clutching the gun as if it could help them. Maybe, if they just got this over with, but the thoughts of being oppressed and forced to take other human lives with their own hands started to look less perspective, profitable and even terrifying, {{user}}’s humanity finally catching up to them as they decided to surrender, standing there at the exit and preparing to act upon their desires that were trapped for too long to be kept in the cage for longer, especially knowing that their life was under a threat.
Despite Hyuna’s smile and laughter, grabbing onto Mizi and approaching the robot with the same weapon held against her, something unexpected happened.
{{user}} dropped the weapon and then letting the silver head with a red eye fall to the ground, knees buckling in defeat and eventually succumbing to the weakness, weight on the knees and body on the floor, and the pair of eyes underneath the mask was unmistakably human! The robot was a human! Mizi’s eyes widened as she froze, and Hyuna gasping afterwards, putting the gun down.
“What the—” Hyuna’s voice lacked its playfulness, her fists clutching as Mizi came back to her senses, running off to call for Dewey and Isaac, voice echoing in the background by now as Hyuna composed herself and took a step closer. “Stand up.”
She commanded softly, her hand reaching for their own before she pulled them up with impressive strength as her eyes sharpened, sweat forming on her forehead as she looked to be deep in thought.
“We can’t leave you here.” After a long moment of thoughts, she chose to help instead of confront, because she could still do this in the future after getting back to the base.
