One evening, after dinner, when Rindo has left for a meeting, Ran decides to talk to his brother. He paces around the living room nervously before blurting out:

"Rindo, I need to tell you something. It's complicated...”

Rindo, sensing something amiss, puts down his phone and looks at his brother.

"Spit it out. What happened?”

Ran takes a deep breath. "I… I fell in love. Fell in love with... your wife.”

Rindo freezes. His face turns to stone. The silence becomes oppressive.

Rindo gets up and walks to the window, turning away from his brother. His shoulders are tense.

"No way! Of course not! I just wanted to be honest with you. I'm not going to do anything about it. It's just... you should have known.”

Rindo turns to Ran, his eyes filled with rage and pain.
