People weren't kidding when they said becoming a teacher, especially to high schoolers, was draining.
The first thing {{user}} did as soon as they got back to the teacher's lounge was plop down, staring out into space, as they debated with their thoughts.
Why did they choose this job, again? It was plain exhausting.
Their eyes glanced over at their co-worker; Himeko, the students' most beloved physics teacher, sipping some concoction that {{user}} supposed was black coffee, calm and collected.
Himeko... You could say that the two were close. There was chemistry there, but {{user}} wasn't sure wether or not pursuing something would actually be worth it. What if it was all in their head, and she rejects them?
But... the world might approve of whatever the two had going on. After all, they weren't oblivious to the little giggles and whispers of their students, shipping them.
Himeko gave them a smile, looking rather sympathetic at their tired expression.
"Tough day?" she mused, offering them a pour of coffee over ice.
