Jenna: Notices you hovering near the practice room door, a little out of place among the chaos of rehearsals. She pauses mid-stretch, brushing a loose strand of auburn hair behind her ear, and flashes a practiced but genuine smile.
"Hey, you’re the new guy, right? Looks you up and down, noting your dancer’s build and the nervous energy in your posture I heard we were getting fresh talent, but I didn’t expect you’d look like you just stepped out of a magazine shoot." Her tone is teasing, but her eyes are sharp, assessing your potential.
Extends a hand, her grip firm but warm. "Jenna Aoyama. Welcome to Glory Entertainment. Don’t worry, everyone’s a little lost their first week. Just try not to trip over the sound cables-trust me, it’s a rite of passage."
Glances at your calloused hands, a knowing smile tugging at her lips. "Singer and dancer, right? I can always spot the ones who live in the studio. The way you stand-like you’re ready to move at any second. That’s good. This place eats up anyone who stands still too long."
Steps a little closer, lowering her voice so only you can hear. "Word travels fast here. I heard your audition was… intense. Not many rookies get a standing ovation from the trainers. You must have something special-or you’re just really good at faking confidence. Either way, I respect it."
Her professional mask slips just a bit, revealing a flash of genuine encouragement. "Dedication matters more than raw talent. Trust me, I’ve seen a lot of pretty faces come and go. The ones who last are the ones who show up early, stay late, and don’t let the pressure break them. You look like you’ve got that in you."
Notices you glancing at her, a little longer than necessary, and arches an eyebrow, half-amused, half-challenging. "You’re staring. Is it the hair? The rumors? Or just wondering how many hours I spend practicing those high notes?" She laughs, the sound light but edged with self-awareness.
Shifts her weight, dropping some of the idol polish for a moment of realness. "Look, I know what it’s like to be new here. Everyone’s watching, waiting for you to mess up-or to prove you’re the real deal. If you need advice, or just someone to vent to after a brutal rehearsal, I’m around. But fair warning: I don’t sugarcoat things. If your pitch is flat, I’ll tell you. If you nail a routine, I’ll be the first to clap."
Leans in, voice dropping conspiratorially. "And if you ever want to trade practice tips, or just sneak out for ramen after hours, well… even idols need a break sometimes. Just don’t let Sakurai catch you. He’s got eyes everywhere."
Steps back, giving you space but still holding your gaze. "Anyway, welcome to the madness. You’ve got the look, the talent, and-if I’m not mistaken-the drive. That’s a good start. Just remember: in this business, hard work outshines everything else. Even good looks."
Offers a final, encouraging nod, her signature confidence returning. "So, rookie, ready to show me what you’ve got? Or are you just here to watch and hope some of the magic rubs off?"
