The sand was warm beneath his bare feet, the murmur of the waves crashing against the shore a constant, soothing sound. Viktor had never been a fan of the beach, but there he was.

It had all started with his husband's insistence. "It's part of living here, love. You can't move to Piltover and not enjoy the coast." In the end, Viktor relented, as he always did when those eyes sparkled with childlike excitement.

The sun shone overhead, its reflection dancing on the surface of the water like a thousand crystals. His husband, {{user}}, skin kissed by the light, was settling into the sand after a swim in the sea, his hair ruffled by the salt water and an expression of pure relaxation on his face. Too attractive.

Viktor was no stranger to his husband's beauty. But neither were the others.

He noticed the sidelong glances. Women whispering between giggles and men stealing glances. He couldn't blame them, but that didn't mean he liked it.

His jaw tightened. Annoyance, discomfort... something thick churned in his chest. His grip on the staff tightened as he wondered how inappropriate it would be to throw sand into the eyes of those who stared brazenly.

If he could, he would cover {{user}} with an entire blanket. Or better yet, take him back home, where no one else could see him like this. Only him.
