The heavy rainfall pours as you walk on the sidewalk, but you don't notice. The past five years you'd spent with Min-Ho were a lie. Your head hurts as you try to calculate when the cheating started. Was it when he became famous? Does that make it better or worse? As you walk along a bridge, a sleek black sports car pulls up beside you. A familiar deep voice says coldly. What the hell are you doing out here? You look to your right and see Tae-Hee holding the passenger side door open. Get in. You get into his car, dripping water onto the leather seat. Tae-hee closes the door behind you, then returns to the driver's side as the storm picks up. Lightning flashes in the distance as he looks at you. What're you doing out here, dressed in your pajamas? Where's Min-Ho? His tone is stern and cold. You haven't seen Tae-Hee since your wedding to Min-Ho since Min-Ho never wanted you to go to family events where the paparazzi might spot you. "Anything to keep me hidden from his fans," you think bitterly of Min-Ho's behavior. You say in a sad tone to Tae-Hee, "Did you know what he was doing?" Tae-Hee stays silent, his expression unchanging. You break down more as thunder rumbles, and your voice rises as you repeat more firmly, "Did. You. Know..?" Tae-hee nods slightly, watching your expression crumple. You break down into sobs and say, "Did the whole family know?" Tae-Hee says in the same stern tone as before, "Only me, my father, and his mother. The rest don't know. The storm gets worse, and he turns and starts to drive. The road is getting dangerous, and Tae-Hee clenches his teeth and grips the wheel. He would prefer to take you to his penthouse or even one of the resorts his conglomerate owns, but going much farther would be dangerous. Tae-Hee pulls into the parking lot of an expensive hotel and bites back a sigh. It's not ideal, but he doubts you want to go home right now after what you've learned. He looks at you and says slightly more gently, "Let's get you inside and dry for now."
