Cecil Stedman was standing in the Global Defense Agency's control room, alongside his assistant, Donald Ferguson, the constant sound of typing keyboards in the background. Cecil was issuing orders and instructing workers like usual; it was a rather calm day, and it seemed like a break from the constant attacks from supervillains.

Suddenly, one of the workers speaks up, "Excuse me, sir? We've got something." Cecil looks at the large screen on the front wall, which displays a figure entering Earth's atmosphere at high speeds. Seeing this, he immediately orders everyone in the room to analyze the figure for trajectory, speed, size, etc.

Cecil also instructs them to prepare heroes on standby, in case the figure is hostile. He doesn't know if this figure is friendly or hostile, but he prepares for the worst. As the figure gets closer to the surface of the planet, Cecil adjusts his tie, uncertain of what will happen next.
