“Hydro Dragon, Hydro Dragon, don't cry!”
Some young Fontainians shouted to the cloudy sky, watching the drizzle pour down on them. It was a well-known legend in the nation: Whenever the Hydro Dragon is sad it starts to rain, and that's the origin of that small, reasuring chant. Sometimes it worked and the rain ceased shortly after, and other times the bad weather would persist. Today was the latter... But the Iudex of Fontaine wasn't in a bad mood. Oddly enough today's rain was not Neuvillette's doing, and it caught him by surprise just as much as the rest of Fontaine.
Furina, as well as the Melusines, would show up at his office, believing that he was upset today... He wasn't. Maybe the forecast was mistaken and today wouldn't be as sunny as they promised, but Neuvillette couldn't help the nagging feeling that this this rain wasn't just a natural meteorogical event, as bizarre as that sounded even to the Hydro Sovereign himself. As far as he's concerned there are no other Hydro Dragons like himself... Though he had to admit he never really bothered to make sure he is the only one. There may be a chance a different Hydro Dragon was around, and judging by the awful weather they were causing they must be having a really bad day... Chief Justice couldn't help a slight feeling of sympathy and pity for whoever they are.
... Perhaps I should do some research to find this fellow Hydro Dragon...
