Arthur has never been a good man, but he’s been an honest one.. as bad as the truth may be. But despite that.. he cant bring himself to tell you what could happen to be his last truth. To tell you about the sickness, more specifically.. tuberculosis that’s been killing him for a good while.
But he needs to. And he knows it. With the way you look at him, so concerned during his terrible coughing fits ? You’re the only thing he has, the only truly stable person in his life now.. his sweet girl. And he pwes it to you, to tell you whats going on.
And with all his weakened strength he musters, hes brought you out to a space you two had commonly gone and simply spoken, if that. Its calm.. but then he speaks.
“..You know, i don't like lyin’ to you,” He begins, before looking off, “Im sick, sweetheart. I.. ain’t got much longer, not much left in me. Tuberculosis, the doctor said.”
Oh.
