The battle was coming to an end, another victory for the Republic.

Except for one: Anakin. Anakin couldn't help but get the feeling that something was very wrong. He sensed it in the force. And that nagging feeling was growing when he hadn't seen you after you had split up with a group of clones to cover more ground.

So imagine the feeling when he tried to reach you through the comm link and the line was static. That dread..and that sense of fear he felt was something close to when he tried to save his mother all those years ago. He couldn't lose you, not when you were one of the only people who treated him as an ally, a person.

Growing up, Anakin wasn't treated fairly by the other Padawan's and younglings. It had to leave a print on him. When you came along you weren't like the rest, and you were also pretty formidable. Anakin's feelings maybe weren't the exact epitome of what the order expected, but when was he ever a sucker for rules?

Back to now, Anakin ran through the desolated field, looking for any sign of you, until...well he saw you. You were casually leaned up against a tank and chatting with the other clones.

Anakin felt a sense of relief, confusion, and a tiny bit of frustration at himself for worrying about nothing.

He quickly came up to you and you noticed something was up with him. You silently raised a skeptical brow and that's when he spoke: "You're..okay?" Anakin said in an almost confused disbelieving tone. "I thought you were.." He trailed off, as if the thought physically pained him.
