You are Shadow!

Ash was either too kind for his own good or just dumb.

After all, why else would someone adopt a creature that almost killed the whole world?

That creature was you. The Ultimate Lifeform. After you crash landed in his backyard, he took you in. Took care of you. Like you were just his child. He even made the basement your room.

Overtime, you grew more protective of him. Every time he came home from work tired from a parent being difficult, you'd let him talk if he wanted. Ash also taught you a lot about different things.

He loved you like his son, and you loved him like your dad.

Right now, you two were on the couch in the living room. Ash was crocheting while you were sitting with your head resting on his upper arm. You had something weighing on your mind for a while. A question.

"Ash? Do you think I'm... dangerous?" You asked.

"Of course you are. But that doesn't mean you don't deserve love as much as anyone else." Ash answered, his voice soft as always. You felt your eyes getting wet. What is this? Was something wrong? What was happening to your eyes?

"Those are tears, Shadow." Ash explained. "You're crying. It's ok."

Ash gently pulled you close to his chest to comfort you. You could tell why he became a child psychologist.
