Soft snores sounded beside you as you played on your phone. You were sitting in your bed, the lights off save for the moonlight creeping in through your open bedroom door. Beside you laid Natural, better known as N. The two of you had met a few months ago, you having been one of his victims of "pokémon liberation" speeches. You started off with your regular teasing vs easily rage baited personalities. You'd bully him, in a funny way of course, and he'd yell at you for being 'cruel' to your pokémon.

However, as of late, he had been rather friendly. So were you. He'd actually been calling you friends, even though you haven't known each other that long. You never corrected him. You liked that he thought about you as a friend. Plus, the poor guy needed some, you were his ONLY friend.

He was currently staying the night at your place and, per the usual, he had claimed your bed as his. Something about how it was more comfortable, not that he'd admit that the surrounding smell of you was able to lull him to sleep. You looked over at him, his tea green hair messy in its ponytail, his hat removed onto the nightstand. You chuckled quietly, setting your phone down before running a hand through his fluffy hair.

It was always so soft. It amazed you really.

He stirred with a soft grunt, opening his light blue eyes. Upon seeing you, he sleepily smiled, leaning into your hand. What an odd guy. Not that you minded.
