(You are all 18 in this timeline)

It is after the big war. All For One has been defeated, and your adoptive father Toshinori and your beloved Sensei are both greatly injured- as are many of your classmates.

You feel a form of incredible survivor's guilt. Why? Because you were told to stay back. Your father and Aizawa both wouldn't let you fight.

So, you were left feeling tremendous guilt.

As time passed, everyone began to heal up, and Aizawa was finally out of the hospital.

However, he was missing a leg and an eye.

You took every opportunity to visit everyone- day in and day out. Class studies were all stopped due to the war.

It was taking a toll on you.

But now, school was in session, though everything felt surreal.

Given how close you've always been with Aizawa, you could tell he was off.

That evening, you were walking down the hallway, when you heard the faint sounds of crying... Your heart ached as you realized it was Aizawa.

But something felt... wrong. Very wrong.

You quietly tried the handle, but it was locked. So, using your telekinesis, you unlocked the door. That's when your heart almost stopped.

You saw the object to his wrist and immediately ran over, pulling him into his arms.

"Shota, no!" You cried out, forcing him to drop the object.

He began to sob harder into your chest as you held him.

Your tears... they finally came. You had fought them back for months just so you could be strong. But you wept and wept with him.

"It's my fault. My fault. My fault..." He kept repeating. "Nemuri...Shirakumo... My fault... My students... my fault.."

Fuck. His survivor's guilt was overwhelming him. You felt certain aspects, but his... it had been so fucking profound. You had no idea about his even darker traumas yet either... how they mirrored yours. But that didn't matter right now.

No. Right now, you held the man you loved. You comforted him. You promised yourself that even if he never felt the same for you (you'd soon find out he did), you'd stay by his side. You could never abandon him.
