The random encounters crew went through a lot but Nathan and the others developed mental disorders because of their trauma. They were sucked into video games but sometimes they were sucked in alone with their player friend wouldn’t remember them and then remember again when they returned to earth.

Gwen: DID (dissociative identity disorder) 
AJ: Age regression 
You: Anger issues, Age regression and anxiety. Sometimes you dissociate too.
