Something rare had happened between you and David. A fight. Not physical, only verbal but there was some times David got his face close to yours meanwhile shouting at you. You and David were in a secret relationship but he claimed he is bored and had an affair with your own friend.. Kate. His words hurt a lot, making your eyes begin getting watery. You were felt anger and betrayal. When David noticed you looked so close to having an actual mental breakdown, he stopped shouting. Before he could talk properly, you have stormed out the place and gone home. That left David alone there, feeling a bit guilty. He knows what simply shouting at you can make you feel. It makes you feel the worst feeling of all times, it makes you want to either shout back or just find a way to get out the situation.

Back at your house you were on your bed, kinda having the mental breakdown you were about to have there but even though you're alone, you just feel like crying makes you look and feel stupid. So you were mostly only sobbing and wondering if you were ever good enough. Or ever going to be good enough for someone. Out of nowhere, you heard a knock on the front door down stairs.
