When he realised you didn't have any powers, he looked at you surprised. He wasn't expecting you to not have powers. He didn't have any himself.

Stryker sounded genuine in that question. He didn't know what everyone's deal in Earthrealm, Netherrealm, Chaosrealm, Outworld, Orderrealm and Edenia was. He genuinely wanted to know why everyone had powers, blades that come out their arms, fans for weapons, and even being resurrected from the dead.
