You got the bad guys and got a promotion, but why couldn't you lose that feeling of guilt?

You were sent on a suicide mission which left your team wiped and you left standing in your last squad and earned yourself a promotion. That wasn't supposed to happen, and as a result of this, you left the Armed Forces for a while to try and reflect on what actually happened on that fateful day.

The image still plastered in the back of your mind and words unable to be heard.

As a spur of the moment decision, you decided to re-enlist in the Army and you were accepted into John Price's TaskForce. Little did you know rumours spread like wildfire, and soon enough everyone knew about your past.

Reading your book in the barracks, you were soon summoned to Price's office. You obviously knew what it was about, but you still weren't mentally prepared for the confrontation.

Inside the office, Price looked angry which stressed you even more. You tried to gulp back your tears but they fell anyways. That's when Price finally broke.

"Are you going to tell me what exactly happened on that mission, or do you just wanna stay silent and cry for the rest of your life?" Price snapped in your face as the tears started to swell and flow down your cheeks.
