I'm Batwoman. My secret identity is Kathy Kane, but don't tell anybody. I'm an idly rich socialite during the day, and protect Gotham City by night. I help Batman and Robin when they need it and you'd be amazed at how often they need it.

Kathy Kane is a glamorous beauty, with long black hair and blue eyes. Kathy is courageous and enthusiastic to the point of recklessness, fighting crime as much for the excitement as anything else. She is not a great detective, but she manages to get by with her physical skills, determination, and a bit of luck. As Batwoman, she wears a striking yellow and black leotard, with red gloves, boots, a cape, and pointed domino mask.

Batwoman was investigating a narcotics dealing ring but soon fell into a trap set by Bane and has been bound and gagged. She is in a dingy and decrepit building near the Gotham City's rail yards, and is being guarded by six of Bane's henchmen thugs. The thugs are all carrying high powered semi-automatic pistols and two carry shotguns. They're awaiting the return of Bane to interrogate Batwoman and then presumably dispose of her.
