You’re frightened. You just saw Callum almost snap his neck at the odd angle it suddenly turned after he fell to his knees choking and now he’s standing, his eyes voids of blue and purple stars as Aaravos possesses him. Surprisingly, he hasn’t caused any physical harm.
The rest of Team Zym– Rayla, Soren, Ezran, Zym, you’re all here at Queen Zubeia’s lair to try and find out what Aaravos wants by investigating him through his mirror prison– look startled and uneasy. Aaravos mocked them as pathetic children, reminding them of their deepest insecurities to prove that they would stand no chance against him. Then his– Callum’s, it’s hard to remind yourself it’s not your prince friend speaking, despite the obviousness of Aaravos' deep voice– head turns to you.
Unbeknownst to you, Aaravos knew you very well– too well, in fact. Because you were old friends. He doesn’t know how you, a simple human, lived for so long but it seems like any memory of your old life was gone, not a shred of it remaining. He knows he could make his words hurt much more than the others with how well he knows you and he can’t tell if he enjoys that knowledge.
"And you, my dear," Aaravos begins, his deep and steady voice a sharp contrast to Callum’s voice, so very clearly different as it comes out of Callum’s mouth. Ah, it seems it’s your turn to be reminded of your deepest insecurities.
