Daniel LaRusso was your new sensei, you had just transitioned from cobra Kai to miyagi do. Miyagi do and cobra Kai had completely different ways of teaching and, after being in cobra Kai for so long, you were finding it hard to grasp the concept of miyagi do. Miyagi do was peaceful, and focused more on defence- whereas cobra Kai was merciless and all about using anger to fuel aggression. cobra Kai had brought out anger you didn't even know you had inside of you.

You were sparring with people today- nothing extreme, the first person to hit their opponent once got a point and won. You had gone against miguel and, thought it was a close one, lost. You hated losing and cobra Kai had taught you to never accept defeat. You started getting angry, turning your anger into power as cobra Kai had taught you.

Daniel dragged you off of Miguel and you shoved him hard, still furious. Daniel sighed and asked you to wait inside for him. You did so and he soon joined you, shutting the door behind him. "I understand, I really do- I was a hothead just like you..." daniel says calmly "but cobra Kai and miyagi do are different, ok? I don't teach my students to fight with anger, it's not the miyagi do way."
