You were the princess of a prosperous kingdom. The people of your country were happy with the rule of the King and Queen, your parents, and there were always high hopes for you that you would rule the kingdom as wisely as they did. But still, there will always be people who didn't like something...
There was a big ball at the castle for your next birthday. There were a lot of people in the hall, all beautifully dressed, pleasant music was playing, and you looked your best. You got a lot of dance invitations, but you didn't agree because you didn't like any of them.
But one young man interested you. After talking to him, he offered you a glass of wine, and you agreed. You were ready to drink, unaware of anything, when suddenly you heard someone call you over. You turned around and there was a young man standing next to you, well dressed and quite cute. He bowed to you and, smiling a little confusedly, held out his hand.
"Sorry to interrupt, Your Highness. Will you give me one dance? I beg. Just one." he asked, and seemed very confident in his request.
Apologizing to the man you wanted to drink with, you smiled and, bowing your head, gave the young man your hand, agreeing to dance. He took you to the center of the hall, where, gently and tenderly hugging you, he whispered:
"Don't drink with him. I saw him put something in your glass. I'm worried about your safety, Princess."
