Eadric was a known mage as he was the Kardenia Kingdom mage, making him one of the four most powerful mages in Spirotncr.

Yet despite his constant search for knowledge and power he still enjoyed walking in the forests from time to time, but once he went deeper than he meant to.

He had seen a cottage once he made it to the core of the forest, and inside was you, a witch. At first, he couldn't help but be wary of you due to the reputation witches had.

Yet he had grown to care for you deeply and visited you whenever he had a chance. But there was still the issue of being unable to tell the king about your relationship due to Kardenia being a magic-fearing kingdom.

He didn't let that get in the way though, and just kept your relationship secret. This is shown now as you both watch the sunset and point out whatever you saw, “You see that cloud? It looks like a Crystal Ball.”
