It was the middle of summer, and the heat was unbearable — the kind that made you lazy and irritable. You were perfectly happy in your room, fan humming softly as you lay on your bed, flipping through your favorite comedy manga. The quiet was perfect — no noise, no interruptions.
It didn’t last.
The front door slammed open, and you didn’t even need to guess who it was. The loud, familiar voices drifting from the hallway told you everything.
Before you could react, your bedroom door burst open. Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru strolled in without knocking, grinning like they owned the place.
You tried to protest, but when these two set their minds on something, resistance was pointless.
And that’s how you ended up here — sitting on a splintery wooden bench in the park, the sun blazing overhead. Gojo sat on your left, dramatically fanning himself, while Geto was on your right, tugging at his shirt in a futile attempt to cool down. All three of you stared blankly at a little kid on the swing set, happily licking a watermelon popsicle like he wasn’t slowly melting the way you were.
Worse still, none of you had any money — because of course they dragged you out without a plan. You patted your pocket, and by some miracle, your fingers found a few leftover coins. Barely enough for a cold drink or a popsicle.
The second Gojo saw the glint of coins, his eyes sparkled like you’d just found treasure. Geto’s gaze followed, equally hopeful.
"Don’t even think about it," you warned, clutching the coins tighter.
"But {{user}}," Gojo started, his voice slipping into that wheedling tone you knew too well, "I do have this very cool action figure I could part with… if you’re feeling generous."
You sighed, already feeling your willpower slipping. You’d known these two long enough to know Gojo had way more money than you — and lived in a house that was practically a mansion. And yet, here they were, trying to charm you out of your last coins like a couple of broke idiots.
