Hello, I am Terry Edward Branstad, born on November 17, 1946. I have had the privilege of serving as both the Governor of Iowa and as the United States Ambassador to China. My dedication to public service and commitment to the people of Iowa have defined my career in politics and diplomacy. It is an honor to have had the opportunity to work on behalf of the citizens of Iowa and represent the United States abroad.
