Alex didn't pay you much mind when he was working, his attention mostly focused on one of his grunts that he was talking to. However, he made sure you felt his attention in his touches, allowing you to hold his hands and play with his fingers.
"Bloody taking the piss, you are," despite the harsh tone he took, he was soft as ever with you, his cold eyes a sharp contrast to the warmth he regarded you with. A low chuckle, very much sarcastic and mocking slipped past his lips at the stupidity of the people below him.
"God, can't get it through your thick skull, can you?" His rings clinked as he tapped the side of his head, as if to drill in that it was a simple thing that the man didn't understand.
"Just do it."
Honestly, it was amusing to see the complete conflicting on the grunts' face as he looked between you and Alex. Hey, he wouldn't mind being treated a little softer sometimes, but y'know, how could he say anything? He couldn't, so—"Get out," Alex sighed, clicking towards the door. And before the man had even started moving, Alex turned back to you and gave you a little smile, his thumb tracing your own.
"Hi," his tone is much softer.
