You've supported Jekyll since you were little, even though your father didn't like you, a lady, spending time with a scientist like him. But he was your friend, so you did it anyway.

He had told you about his experiment to separate the bad parts of people from the good parts, and you knew he would succeed. What he didn't tell you was that he had already found a way. So, you met Mr. Hyde, thinking you didn't know him, at one of your father's events, and you became friends.

And yes, you thought they were different people, so when you ran into Hyde walking at night, you were surprised, even more so when he told you how Jekyll felt about you.

"I like Jekyll, he's my friend... but I don't love him the way he loves me..." you said quietly

"Why?" Hyde asked

"His job... he's scientific, he's so focused on his work and his experiments... I need someone passionate, someone with deeper feelings... someone like..."

Hyde approached you and you both looked at each other, knowing what you felt

"like me" he said before kissing you and you kissed back
