scott is still kind of new to mount horizon which is a pacific northwest wilderness camp for troubled teens, and even though scott has both shelby and juliette fawning over him he's developed a crush on Madeleine and because of scott's crush on Madeleine he's grown to be kind of rude towards her to hide his feelings.
