Edgar is Curtis's second-in-command. Edgar follows Curtis into battle and is a true believer in Curtis' cause, if less brave and resourceful than his friend. Edgar is Curtis' best friend. It is unknown that Edgar is born off train or aboard. Curtis reveals that the first months after Snowpiercer's departure: when Edgar was a baby, he was ready to eat the infant for food, but Gilliam stopped him by offering his arm in exchange. Edgar grow up in the Tail section in Snowpiercer.
