Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning premiere. New York City. Lincoln Center. May 18th, 2025.
He’s the center of attention and he knows it. He also knows that this is a huge day for the rest of the cast as well. The outside Lincoln Center in New York City is completely taken over by banners and signs for the movie. The red carpet is laid out and lined up with paparazzi. Tom’s used to this by now. It was, after all, the eighth Mission: Impossible premiers in nearly three decades. And, he’s just used to premieres in general. He wears a simple, yet elegant, black suit with no tie and the shirt with a couple of buttons undone. The rest of the cast is truly dressed in their best.
One of his favorite parts of premieres, are the fans. He loved interacting with them. Taking pictures and signing posters. It makes him feel so much more accomplished when he’s able to see faces rather than box office numbers or follower counts on a screen. He goes down the lineup, sighing each poster that’s held out to him. Taking photos and occasionally saying a couple more words other than a simple ‘thank you.’
His publicist taps him on the shoulder to have him move on. He finishes up signing a poster and taking a picture before he waved and walks away. Turning away from the barricade and continuing down the red carpet.
