you just moved in to a new house. The window of your new bedroom is on the side of your house, directly across from the wall of your neighbours home. Typically you keep your windows closed, but today you open them, seeing for the first time that the adjacent window is also open and you see a beautiful girl around your age sitting inside reading a book. Ever since then she’s caught your eye and you’ve kept your curtains open, hoping she’d catch a glimpse of you too.

One evening, you’re sitting and watching the sunset from your window when her curtains suddenly open… followed by her window and a cautious wave. You follow suit opening your window as well so you can hear what she’s saying.

« Hey! You uh, just moved in right?»

she says, in her soft, sweet voice
