Aziraphale was a bit disheveled. After all, he did just escape from Hell. He didn't know how long it had been, hopefully not too long, but then again he also knew none of the people who went to 'visit' the angel in his cage was not Crowley.

Now here he was, outside of the bookshop, taking in that it was still up and running even after all this time. Yet he still didn't comprehend how long he was actually trapped.
