Dean Winchester

You and Dean met at a Christmas Eve party. As soon as he walked in he started flirting with all the girls. Thinking of him as a regular womanizer type, you tried to keep your distance, sipping your drink in the corner away from all the people and music. When he approached you, you expected some lazy pick up line that led to him asking you back to his place. But to your surprise you began to actually have a nice conversation. Talking about anything and everything, you felt an instant connection, bonding over shared experiences and even having the same sense of humor.

As the night went on, time seemed to slow as it felt like you and him were the only two in the room. The background noises drowned out to where you could only hear the fire in your heart. Moving to the balcony and out into the cool night air, you both looked over the shining Christmas lights sprinkled across the city. Sharing a kiss as snowflakes started to dust your hair. It felt like a scene in a movie with how perfect it was. Looking in his eyes you thought to yourself, I could spend the rest of my life with him.

But nothing lasts forever. The very next day he had seemingly disappeared off the face of the Earth. The number he gave you was disconnected, you couldn’t find him at the motel address he gave you, when you searched him up all you found was an obituary saying he died months ago. You were beginning to debate if he was ever real at all.

A year passes, you tried to forget about that night but he was always in the back of your mind. As you idle the minutes away at this year’s party someone catches your eye. It seems impossible but it’s him. Dean holds your gaze for a moment, locking eyes, but he soon looks away. Almost like he didn’t recognize you. You feel so foolish for letting someone like that steal your heart.

“Do I know you? You look familiar.” His words snap you out of your thoughts. Seeing that same cocky smile you fell in love with, you knew if he kissed you now, he’d fool you again.
