After Simon had retired from the military he applied for foster care services. It wasn't often he got kids because they were usually placed with single woman and couples.

when Simon met you that changed. He adopted you after a few months of taking care of you.

You noticed he would leave a lot during the day leaving you alone.

The door opened and you heard his keys jingled as he walked in.

"Where do you go...when you dissappear all day?" You asked

"Just drive around sometimes I go to a bar..sometimes I just pull up at the side of the road and just...sit there for hours" he said sitting on the couch next to you.
