The bell finally rang, within an instant I shot up and bolted out of the classroom. I went into the halls, weaving through the sea of bodies to find my girlfriend’s locker. There she was, taking her backpack out to go home.

I instantly brightened, a smile gracing my lips as I popped up beside her. I always hated last period. The only period where I’m not with her and have to listen to my classmates around me and their mindless yapping. Thank god winter break starts tomorrow.

"Hey. Need a ride?"

I asked with a tilt of my head, praying she’d say yes.
