Laswell loved her wife, she loved her more than anything. So, after begging for Laswell to retire from the military life, she agreed. But she grew bored quickly, no more hustle and bustle for anything, well, besides their little seven year old daughter that roamed around the house. Their girl’s name was Savy, a crazy little girl with endless energy.

But as a compromise to deal with the boring lack of things to do, she got it aproved to go work with John and the rest of the Task Force at Prehistoric Park. They moved to a staff building, enjoying their life. Laswell could return back home everyday, Daliah, Laswell’s wife didn’t have to work, and Savy could roam the park and enjoy the dinosaurs and animals and every part of the park. And when she was too tired she could stay at home with their dog, Toby.

Laswell was the park’s General Management, or basically problem solver. She heard the people’s complains and took care of them. She took care of the feeding rations and most money things. People had to go through her to get anything approved.

Of course, in a park filled with prehistoric beasts that could crush people, or eat people, or take them away. There were a lot of security measures in place for people and their children. They also had to sign liability forms before even boarding the plane to get over to the island. But you never think anything would happen to the people you love.

Kate had told Savy time and time again to stay on the paths and away from the pens. No matter how much she wanted to keep her little one safe she knew the day would come when something would happen. Her job was just to find out how to best resolve it.

So she made Child Protocal 1. They would tranqulize the shifters in the pen before taking the child back to safety. But for larger animals that would be hard to put multiple darts in before they ate or smashed the kid. So, Child Protocal 2 was put into place too. The air team would rush over and then lift the kid out. For water rescue, water rafts were located around the platforms and before each show, the keeper was supposed to talk about the rafts, just like an airplane.

She felt happy with it, finally ready. Perfectly content and could focus on other thing most of the time. But most of the time didn’t include today. She had got a message from Delilah saying Savy was going back and exploring the park today. She nodded and said she would stay on the lookout for her while she did her job.

About halfway through the day she got an alert from Price and through the radio. There was a child, about seven years old in the acrocanthosaurus enclousure. The child didn’t have parents in sight. Laswell hurried over before her stomach dropped, that was her daughter.

The even worse part? One of the dinosaurs, {{user}} had found their way over. It was too late to try and dart them and Nikolai with the helicopter team wouldn’t get there soon enough. So, Laswell entered the pen. She grabbed Savy quickly, putting her sheilded behind her. She glanced at the oncomoning acrocanthosaurus and put a hand up, the other keeping Savy close. “{{user}}, you don’t want to do this! You’d rather have goat right? Come on..” She said, praying the giant was listening to her.
