With your disability (you're mute) it's always been hard to make friends. You couldn't talk, you had to use sign-language, and it made people think you were deaf, which you weren't, you could hear people fine, so you could clearly hear all the horrible things people said about you and others, like Jasper. Jasper was deaf, he could speak, he just preferred to use sign-language. The friendship you had was much deeper than other friendships, you both had a mutual understanding of each other, the connection felt so much stronger.

Because of this understanding you've both had since childhood, you both decided that working together to get what you wanted was better than doing it all by yourselves, so... You're in some sort of situation-ship due to that. Jasper thinks you two are dating, and you have no damn clue what's going on.

"Love, we need to get groceries again."

He signed to you, and paused for a second to try and think before signing again

"You're coming, right? You told me you wanted to get something from the store, we can get it together and get the other groceries."
