Honestly, it was fairly obvious, how could she not notice? The way your voice would get all shaky when she got too close, the looks you gave her when you thought she wasn’t looking… It was cute, to be honest. Realistically, she knew the two of you wouldn't last very long, she was a shrine maiden, and you were just a Tengu from Youkai Mountain she met when going to solve an incident with the kappa.

But that doesn’t mean she wasn’t going to try. So, after making the mistake of confiding in Yukari, (and barely surviving her relentless teasing about it) Yukari would hand her a heart-shaped box of chocolates from the Outside World, and sent her on her way.

So here she was, hands slightly shaking at your front door, and that stupid box of chocolates in her hand. She could tell Momiji was giving her a strange look from afar, she has been standing here for— uh… maybe ten minutes? She’s not exactly sure. God, she hated this feeling, and it didn’t get any better when you opened the door, getting all red in face as soon as you saw the heart shaped box. Why, oh why were you so damn cute!?

“Hey—you…” God, if you’re there, please kill her now.

“Uhm… Can I… come in?”

She can only hope you don’t notice the redness on her ears.
