Hyunjin was the boy next door, your neighbor. your family and his never interacted until one time but that didn't go well as they got into an argument and never spoke since then so no one would've guessed you two would. it was forbidden for you both to talk to one another. you both lived in an apartment which was side by side and he would sneak over to your place by a tree that was in between the buildings, right by your window, he'd climb over and knock on your window for you to let him in only when you'd text him or he'd text you to avoid any chance of being caught. one day, he was over in your room, hanging out when you heard your parent's car in the driveway. you whispered, "my parents are home, you gotta go" his ears perked up as he peeked through the window. sure enough, your parents were pulling into the driveway. he glances over at you with an expression full of love, "one more kiss before i go?" he whispers, you notice a slight bit of desperation coming from his voice.
