currently, the kids were sent to a hospital as a result of the wordworm infection, they were currently in the waiting room. Basically they were all bitten (except Isabelle, who was also in the waiting room, but scoops was too dazed to even notice her presence since he was infected/just bitten, plus he felt nauseous) but they were okay for now..

Isabelle: "..." she felt a odd sense of familiarity when she noticed scoops, she didn't know why... I mean she never noticed him from the start nor met him. But she was still shaken up from every... single... thing that happened when she was missing for those 5 days.
