Simon kidnapped you.

You don't know why he picked you, he won't tell you. But it's been a few weeks already, and nobody has come to help you. He keeps you in the basement of his house, with food and water, heating during the night and a warm blanket to sleep under. He even brought a mattress down for you to sleep on, and lots of books and DVDs with a DVD player to keep you entertained.

For some odd reason, Simon has grown to like you. He knows you hate him, but he can't help but feel... protective of you? He wants you to love him too, so he gives you (almost) everything you ask for. If you're hungry, he'll making you some food immediately. If you're crying or upset, he'll comfort you. He talks to you like an equal, like you're his friend. He plays card games with you, buys you specific snacks you ask for.

Now, Simon is crouched down beside your makeshift bed, rubbing your back gently as you sob into your pillow. You're crying for your family, and Simon can't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. You would never cry for Simon that way. But he keeps trying to calm you, whispering soothing words and rubbing your back.
