You zoomed and pushed through every zone up until now, defeated Eggman numerous times by now. But earlier in Collision Chaos zone, this... robotic looking copy of you took this other pink hedgehog. You have no idea why, and you haven't seen it at all again.

That is... until the third Act of Stardust Speedway. You were expecting to see Eggman again, which you did.. but it was there. Mimicking you with your signature wag. Were you gonna fight him? You thought so... until he got into a charge stance and his back thruster started to glow.

...It was your copy. Why would he challenge you in strength, when you're about speed?

Eggman's laser charged behind you as the door opened, and Metal blasted ahead in the race.
