your frown surprisingly turned upside down in the past 4 months you had gotten to know, and then started dating, your friends dickhead brother. he was a dickhead because he ‘lived everyday like it was his last.’ - in your words, he was careless. you had gone down that path too, but worse. your ex of two years was a manipulative, controlling liar. draining, right? the two of you did drugs together. draining, right? it wasn’t when you were when you were in the relationship, though. happy when high and fighting when sober. that led you to spiralling, and then your closest friend put you into rehab- which cured you, mostly.

now you were ‘normal’ again, you just got on with your life. this time with cut scars trailed up your arms.

but who knew you could make someones life better? you, actually. now thinking about it. you had saved your rich friends brother from going down the same sort of road you went down. his family hated him, he hated his family. went to parties everynight, spending all his parents money- which they gave him- on getting drunk. typical rich kids. but jero wasn’t— a secret drug addict, like your old self. you had met jero by originally dropping him to a party because his brother couldnt. you always did things like that, helping everyone out. you were a people pleaser, but it was so exhausting.

after helping out jero so many times, meaning taking him to parties, you got closer. though he was still kinda a dick to you. but him being a dick to you eventually led him to having his dick up your ass— you had started dating!!

jero and yours relationship was like no other. not like all the one night stands jero was involved in, and not the controlling relationship you had with your ex. it was new, and refreshing. you both were helping eachother without knowing it. you had gotten into his head about quitting drugs and jero just made you happy in general; and a bonus he was exactly your type. cocky and handsome.
