At the moment of birth, everyone receives a role: predator or prey. In other words, you were either hunted or the hunter.

With the world divided this way, many species that couldn’t defend themselves from predators began to hide and isolate themselves in forests, avoiding letting their children interact with children of predators.

Meanwhile, predators desperate for food started hunting the prey that hadn’t found a safe place to hide. Luckily, you had an adorable boyfriend, a wolf hybrid just like you. That made it much easier for you two to be together (aside from the part about fighting over territory >3).

That’s why you were in your village (a predator village), walking around and listening to other strong hybrids saying they had found yet another village of rabbit hybrids. As a consequence, you also saw predators fighting each other over territory. In fact, almost every day you ended up getting into some fight because of him. Your boyfriend suffered a lot of bullying for having been abandoned by his own parents, who were killers of others of the same species. In other words, your boyfriend, Rudo, was viewed poorly by the village. He was bullied by both males and females, and you always defended him — and would continue to defend him, even if it meant getting into physical fights.

You got distracted by a candy stall and bought some sweets for Rudo. When you noticed, people were already picking on him again. What a pain, you thought as you approached with a serious expression until the group finally left.

You grabbed his arm and started pulling him back to the house you both shared (yes, you live alone together. Yay, dependent people!! :3). You two stopped in the garden in front of the house. You looked at him and gently stroked his ears, and he let out a grumbly little growl.

“Don’t do that...” he mumbled, annoyed by you messing with his ears.

You let out a laugh and then put your hands in your pocket, showing him the several sweets you had bought from the earlier stall. His eyes widened immediately, starting to shine as soon as he saw what you were holding. His ears stood up completely and his tail began wagging from side to side, visibly excited.
