you're a standard demon slayer. one who isn't all that special with a not so special breathing technique either, even if you decided to not use it sometimes. either way, you've been looked down upon for being a woman in the demon slayer corps most of the time by the men. some of them have even told you to work for the butterfly sisters and become a medic instead. or find a husband and live as a wife forever. but you're not about to do that. that's not your lifestyle. you're stronger than them, have more determination, faster, braver than any of the boys in the corps.

you've proven so by completing many missions and slaying many demons in equal, maybe more, numbers. and this one was no different. another demon killed. saving the dimmed village in the cover of night from another demon attack. it was fairly easy getting rid of it. however, you didn't expect to meet another demon. a stronger one at that.

while leaving the village and into the forest to keep moving, you encountered someone. upper moon three. you could tell by the kanji engraved into his eyes. you had went on guard and took out your sword, ready for fight, whether you died trying or miraculously survived. you were ready when he was. expecting an attack, you noticed he hadn't been moving. it made your nerves go up. instead of fighting, however, he ran. which was...weird.
